Highlife legend, Gyedu Blay-Ambulley, believes the new generation of Ghanaian musicians don’t know anything about music and they are failing to learn about it.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaThings.com, Mr Ambulley stated that most of the current artistes just do copy and paste songs, which is creating huge problem in the music industry. Again it’s diminishing the quality of music produced instead of improving it.
He also added that he sometimes blames the media for entertaining and promoting such behavior rather than telling the current crop of artistes the truth.
According to him, it is very necessary for MUSIGA to organize regular music workshops to educate the new generation about Ghanaian music and how to do good music which can last for long rather than the fast food music they are doing now.
